My name is Meg and I coach the Agility classes at Connect Behaviour. I’m a Grade 7 Agility Handler and have been competing with my own dogs for over 10 years and have run all over the country, including at Crufts a few times.

As well as the agility I have studied Animal Behaviour and Welfare at University. I love working with dogs and can’t wait to introduce more people into the world of Agility.“

Sally is one of our amazing walkers and trainers here at Connect, primarily looking after the dogs at our Dog School. Sally has been working with dogs for over five years and brings a deep-rooted passion to everything she does. She is kind, patient, and ensures every dog in her care feels safe and valued.
Beyond her daily walks, Sally leads our Puppy Social classes, Adolescent walks, and provides one-to-one in-person training for owners looking for tailored support. Here is what she has to say:

Laura is one of our talented trainers here at Connect. Before joining the team, Laura served as a military dog handler, where she trained and worked with high-drive breeds in demanding environments. This specialized background has given Laura the expert insight needed to provide the precise training and mental stimulation required for all dogs to lead a happy, balanced life.
Laura works with our puppy and dog owners on a one-to-one basis, as well as leading our Reactive Rover classes and Neutral Walking groups. Here is what she has to say:

“Dogs have been part of my life since I was a child, and that natural affinity eventually led me to a career as a Military Police Dog Handler. After years of working in high-pressure environments, I’ve learned that while training is full of unique challenges, the rewards are even greater.

Whether I’m working through a complex 1-2-1 session or enjoying the energy of a group social, I love every minute of it—muddy paws and all! My goal is to use my professional background to help your dog grow into a confident, happy companion.”

Holly is a vital member of the Connect team, serving as both a professional walker and a dedicated assistant at our Dog School. Regardless of where her career has taken her, Holly has always been drawn back to her true passion: working with animals.
Her extensive hands-on experience includes traveling abroad to volunteer at an overseas rescue shelter, where she provided care for over [Number] dogs. At Connect, Holly does it all—from transporting dogs to and from Dog School to engaging them in play and teaching them essential new skills throughout the day.
Holly is deeply committed to the science of “dog-speak.” She already holds a [Name of Qualification/Level] in Animal Behaviour and is currently furthering her expertise by studying for her degree in Canine Behaviour. My approach is backed by a Degree in Animal Behaviour and Psychology, and I am currently further specialising with a Diploma in Canine Behaviour and Welfare.

Whether I’m befriending street dogs abroad or pet sitting locally, I treat every dog as an individual. I’m truly obsessed with understanding what makes our four-legged friends tick, and I can’t wait to bring that expertise to you and your dog! 🐾”

Hi, my name is Billy I am Kerry’s right-hand man.

Kerry has learnt a lot through me, training me as a young adolescent dog being a Jug ( Jack Russell terrier X Pug). I used to love chasing small fluffy animals and made recall a bit of a challenge, I also loved to be everyone’s friend when I was younger.

I have definitely put Kerry to the test and made her step up to be a good dog trainer!

Now, I am a mature gentleman and have been Kerry’s best friend for the last 9 years, and I spend my time assisting Kerry and helping other people and their dogs (the rest of my time I enjoy running around on the beach and eating chicken).

I have been around the block for a few years now and I can spot a fearful or unconfident dog a mile off, my job is to help Kerry access these dogs and work alongside them and their owners to build up confidence in both dog and owner.

Rubble is the second “Assistant Dog” to join Kerry at Connect. Training alongside Kerry and Billy, Rubble has proven that size truly doesn’t matter when it comes to leadership and empathy. From Chihuahuas to Rottweilers, Rubble is a friend to everyone.
Why Rubble is a Specialist
Rubble possesses a high level of “canine emotional intelligence.” He has the unique ability to remain completely neutral in the face of reactivity, providing a calm anchor for dogs that are overwhelmed. He knows exactly when to initiate play to boost a nervous dog’s confidence and—crucially—exactly when to back off to give a fearful dog space.
His Specific Skills Include:
* Expert Neutrality: He can ignore reactive outbursts, allowing the other dog to process their environment without added pressure.
* Confidence Building: His playful, non-threatening nature helps fearful dogs find their courage.
* Assessment Support: He acts as a safe, predictable “stooge dog,” allowing Kerry to accurately read and diagnose behaviors in a controlled setting.
Together, Rubble and Billy provide the perfect balance of calm, neutrality, and fun to support Kerry’s life-changing work.

When he isn’t helping other dogs find their feet, Rubble is a high-achiever in the world of Competitive Obedience. You can find him traveling the county with Kerry, showing off his precision heelwork and impressive tricks.
