Meet Our Friendly Team
At Connect Behaviour we know how important it is to get to know what breed of dog we have in front of us and the amount of physical and mental stimulation each dog as an individual needs.
We provide training and behaviour modification programmes and breed specific recommendations, from scent work for Spaniels, to bite work for German Shepherds.
Providing the correct outlet and letting the dog use their drives for what they were breed for, makes a huge contribution to a happy healthy dog.
Kerry
Head Trainer, Owner & Founder of Connect Behaviour
Hi, my name’s Kerry and I specialise in working with you and your dog to break down behavioural issues and support behavioural transformations. My speciality and passion is working with large, high-drive working breeds.
I always knew I wanted to work with animals, from my years competing my ex-race Horse Jazz, in both Show Jumping and Cross Country and owning and training my own German Shepard and terrier dogs from a very young age.
This started my journey to becoming a dog trainer and behavioural specialist. It is my mission to support those in need and make sure them and their dogs have the best connection, partnership and that owners have the understanding of canine behaviour.
I am also a qualified CHUK (CANINE HOOPERS UK) Hoopers Agility Instructor and in my spare time, I train my German Shepherd in Competition Obedience and Dog Sports. Billy my little assistant dog loves to train in Hoopers Agility and Scent Work (these are super engaging and fun for your dog)!
Nikita
Dog Trainer
Nikita is one of our talented Dog Trainers here at Connect Behaviour, Nikita runs some of our Puppy and Adolescent classes as well as working with customers on a 1:1 basis. Here is what she has to say:
“Hi I’m Nikita and I’ve been dog obsessed for as long as I can remember. I grew up around Chocolate Labradors, so I have a real soft spot for them but I love all breeds!
I studied at Plymouth University where I got my degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. From there I began my career in veterinary microbiology for a short time before going into teaching Animal Care qualifications.
I loved working with small animals but I knew I needed more dogs in my life! I’ve always loved teaching animal behaviour and training subjects and want to share my passion with owners to help them better understand their pets behaviours.“
Meg is our talented Agility Instructor, teaching our clients from Beginner’s who have never seen an Agility course before, right through to Competition level 😁 Here is what she has to say:
“Hi Everyone!
My name is Meg and I coach the Agility classes at Connect Behaviour. I’ve been competing with my own dogs for over 10 years and have run all over the country, including at Crufts a few times.
As well as the agility I have studied Animal Behaviour and Welfare at University. I love working with dogs and can’t wait to introduce more people into the world of Agility.“

Chloe
Class Assistant
Chloe is Kerry’s sister and runs a successful Dog Walking business of her own.
Chloe attends and assists Kerry, Nikita and Meg with classes and she helps in Puppy, Adolescent and Agility classes, she is currently studying to be a Scent Work Trainer and also trains her Spaniel in Gun Dog Training!
Hi, my name is Billy I am Kerry’s right-hand man.
Kerry has learnt a lot through me, training me as a young adolescent dog being a Jug ( Jack Russell terrier X Pug). I used to love chasing small fluffy animals and made recall a bit of a challenge, I also loved to be everyone’s friend when I was younger.
I have definitely put Kerry to the test and made her step up to be a good dog trainer!
Now, I am a mature gentleman and have been Kerry’s best friend for the last 9 years, and I spend my time assisting Kerry and helping other people and their dogs (the rest of my time I enjoy running around on the beach and eating chicken).
I have been around the block for a few years now and I can spot a fearful or unconfident dog a mile off, my job is to help Kerry access these dogs and work alongside them and their owners to build up confidence in both dog and owner.
